The Office of General Affairs provides essential services to the campus to help achieve expected teaching goals. It designs and constructs the buildings, preserves the campus environment, and maintains the facilities and equipment. To fulfill teachers’ and students’ needs, it purchasesfacilities related to teaching, experiments, physical education, recreational activities and administration, enhances the quality of the physical environment, and takes care of campus security.
The staff of the Office of General Affairs have correct educational concept and enthusiasm to offer services in a courteous manner. To offer better services, the guidelines of Office of General Affairs are: plan, execute, and evaluate. It makes the most of the properties and resources to meet the needs, and aims at enhancing the administrative efficiency.
The goals of the Office of General Affairs are:
(1) to improve the teaching and learning environment.
(2) to provide appropriate and effective services and assistance.
(3) to deal with general affairs in modern and industrial ways.
The Office of General Affairs is located on the first floor, next to the elevator for teachers and guests. Ext: 301-308.
The Office of General Affairs is managed by three sections which include General Services Section, Cashier Section, and Documentation Section.
Director of General Affairs:
The director supervises administrative matters in the Office of General Affairs.
General Services Section
This section is responsible for administration related to construction, maintenance, and repair of campus buildings, electricity, water, and campus-beautification projects. We are also in charge of campus security, such as the regular examination of water and electricity, and the assignment of security guards at the entrance of campus. Our jobs also include purchasing machines, instruments, and stationery for all teaching and administrative needs.
Cashier Section
The main responsibilities of the Cashier Section are to receive subsidies, and handle affairs with banks. We also handle student affairs such as the issuance of scholarships, the charging and refund of tuition fees.
Documentation Section
The Documentation Section is mainly in charge of receiving and dispatching documents, verifying the approval procedures for official documents, and setting of university seals on approved documents.
